A BREATH OF ROMANCE FROM ITALY Vsevolod Dvorkin (piano, Italy) Featuring: Matteo Balboni Samuele Migliaccio The program will feature music from various eras. The traditions of the Italian piano school will unfold this evening through the performances of pianist Vsevolod Dvorkin and two of his students – young Italian pianists Matteo Balboni and Samuele Migliaccio. In the concert, the three performers will reveal different stages of maturity in piano art, and the performances of the teacher and students will allow the audience to experience a lively artistic dialogue and how musical tradition is passed from generation to generation. Having debuted at the age of fourteen with the Ulyanovsk Symphony Orchestra, Vsevolod Dvorkin studied at the Gnessin Special Music School and the Moscow P. Tchaikovsky Conservatory, later continuing his studies at the Imola Piano Academy and the Milan Conservatory. His teachers included renowned pianists Natalia Trull, Lazar Berman, Vera Gornostayeva, and Vincenzo Balzani. For many years, Vsevolod Dvorkin's life and professional activities have been connected with Italy. He is a piano lecturer at the “Vecchi–Tonelli” Conservatory in Modena and Carpi, and also teaches at the European Music Academy in Erba and the “Accademia del Talento” in Desio. Many of his students have become laureates of international competitions and have started independent concert careers. The pianist actively performs as a soloist and chamber musician, conducts masterclasses, participates in international festivals, and is invited to serve on juries for piano competitions. In Italy, he regularly performs at events organized by prestigious concert organizations, participates in the Cortona Piano Festival and other music projects. Dvorkin's interpretations are valued for their intellect, technical mastery, and broad palette of timbres. At this musical event, two of his students will perform alongside the professor.
