A Historical Walk through Lukiškės (in Lithuanian)

The Lukiškės Prison complex stands today as a testament to the enduring symbolic weight of this former place of incarceration. As a historical object of study, the former Lukiškės pre-trial detention center and prison has so far received only a few in-depth studies. It's no wonder, as the Lukiškės Prison complex, built over a century ago, only became history itself when it was finally closed in July 2019.
