Alternative CAC Tour "Connections"

The exhibition "Superglue, or Making a Friend" asks how we can befriend something that at first seems unfamiliar, strange, or hard to understand. The "Connections" tour invites you to look at the works presented in the exhibition as an opportunity to get to know them and form new connections. Meeting the works in different ways, we will explore together how understanding works and how connections are formed. By answering questions, completing small tasks, and getting involved in planning the tour's route, we will consider what is similar and what is different between getting to know works of art and getting to know people. The tour is based on active participation : during it, visitors are invited not only to listen, but also to join the conversation, to connect with the works and with one another. Tickets can be purchased here. Guide – artist Martynas Pekarskas. Martynas Pekarskas is a Lithuanian artist of the younger generation whose work unfolds in the field of visual art. Using colour, line, text and objects, he explores themes of visuality, time, contemporary art discourse, human imagination, and our relationship with the outside world. Pekarskas creates paintings, drawings and installations, and takes part in various projects and exhibitions. At CAC he works as an exhibition consultant and guide.
