Ballet VIVA VERDI by the Italian company Balletto di Milano

Giuseppe Verdi is Italy's most famous composer, a true icon of the country's rich musical heritage, whose works have resonated across generations and transcended national borders. Although he never composed a full-length ballet, his operas are filled with exceptional dance episodes – from I Vespri Siciliani to Il Trovatore, Otello, Don Carlo, and Macbeth – as well as majestic preludes perfectly suited for choreography, rhythm, and dramatic expression.

"Viva Verdi" celebrates the timeless legacy of the Maestro, translating his music into movement, breath, and vivid expression. Every gesture, every step reflects the sublime melodies that made Verdi immortal, revealing not only the extraordinary power of his music but also his enduring passion for drama and dance. This performance is a tribute to his art, to Italy's unique cultural identity, and to the universal emotions that his music continues to evoke in the hearts of audiences worldwide.
