Biplan – Lukiškės Prison 2.0

Having just celebrated their thirtieth anniversary, they return to Lukiškės Prison for their one and only capital city summer concert. The very same band whose songs everyone knows by heart — Biplan! The group will take the main stage on July 30. Over more than 30 years, Biplan has won the hearts of listeners with authenticity, sincerity, energetic live performances, and, of course, songs that have become true hits. The famous trio — Maksas Melmanas, Olegas Sejevas, and Seržas Grėjus — say themselves that they can hardly believe so many decades have passed with halls full of fans who know the lyrics by heart and sing along. What is the secret of such popularity? Biplan is convinced: do everything with love! We welcomed Maksas just this winter in the intimate Piano and A Microphone format, where Biplan songs resonated in a completely new way. We became friends, we continue the friendship, and we suspect the guys are preparing some new sounds for this concert too. Quoting the band themselves — better they say it than we could! Last year's concert left an unforgettable impression, so we are already putting together the setlist and eagerly awaiting July 30 and the wonderful continuation of the story of Biplan and Lukiškės Prison. We know that a warm and special crowd gathers there, and we feel wonderful climbing the Lukiškės stage ourselves.
