Christos Yerolatsitis (Cyprus) | UNITY

When jazz meets contemporary music, improvisation becomes a language, and rhythm tells a story. On August 29th, the international project **"Unity"**, led by Cypriot pianist, keyboardist, and composer **Christos Yerolatsitis**, will perform for the first time on the DOWNTOWN PIANO LAB stage. This is a meeting of four exceptional European musicians on one stage. Alongside Christos, one of the most prominent saxophonists from the Baltic States, **Toms Rudzinskis**, drummer **Stelios Xydias**, and bassist **Cahit Kutrafali** will perform – artists whose musical experience combines different cultures, traditions, and contemporary jazz directions. The music of "Unity" is born between free improvisation, hypnotic rhythms, and sensitive melodies. It is contemporary jazz where complex musical ideas are conveyed easily and naturally, making the concert engaging not only for jazz fans but also for everyone seeking a lively, emotional, and authentic musical experience. Each piece is like a living dialogue between the musicians, where spontaneity merges with precise arrangements, and energy transforms into calm, introspective moments. It is this balance that gives the project its name **"Unity"** – a unity born from different voices.
