My Own Private Idaho is a road drama about two young street hustlers living on the fringes of society. Mike, a young man suffering from narcolepsy, embarks on a journey across the United States, hoping to find his mother, a home, and answers about his past. He is accompanied by Scott, a rebellious son from a wealthy family who has chosen life on the streets as a form of protest.
