Concert Commemorating the Day of Remembrance of the Genocide of Lithuanian Jews | Vilnius Shalom Festival 2026

On September 23 at 6:00 PM , Vilnius Shalom Festival invites you to the Samuel Bak Museum for a special concert commemorating the Day of Remembrance of the Genocide of Lithuanian Jews . This moving and meaningful program will feature one of Lithuania's leading tenors, Rafailas Karpis , together with guest artist from Yerevan , Diana Harutyunyan , soprano and soloist of the Armenian National Academic Theatre of Opera and Ballet . The soloists will be accompanied by an intimate chamber ensemble. Performers: Rafailas Karpis – tenor Diana Harutyunyan – soprano (Armenia) Darius Mažintas – piano Dainius Peseckas – violin Marius Sakavičius – cello Lina Baublytė – flute Tadas Daujotas – shofars The concert program will feature the premiere of Ofer Ben-Amots' “Shtetl Song Suite”, songs composed in the Lithuanian ghettos, and works by John Williams, Baruch Berliner, Keren Peles, Max Janowski, and Giedrius Svilainis.
