Contact Improvisation Jams
This season, KI jams will take place every Sunday, and on the last Sunday of October, November, January, March, and May – Underscore jams with live music. I recommend the jams to those who have already danced or are at least somewhat familiar with the dance form of contact improvisation. About KI Jam A jam (from English "jam") is a form of contact improvisation practice where dancers gather to freely improvise and refine their contact improvisation skills. This term is related to the improvisation form in jazz music, only here bodies replace musical instruments. Contact improvisation is one of the few dance forms where the entire body surface is used for dancing. Touch becomes an essential element when improvising in dance with another person. It helps to listen to one's own and the other's movement and to discover new movement possibilities. It is a dance where you can experience the joy of co-creation by dancing together. Jam dates: April 19, 26; May 3, 10, 17, 24; June 7, 14. Price: Full season (28 jams) – 140 EUR. 9-jam pass – 63 EUR. (valid for 4 months) Single visit – 10 EUR.
