After two sold-out concerts, „Contra Jazz“ returns to the Music Magic Club. This time with a new programme. This will already be the quartet's third performance on the club's stage, so it seems that meetings with „Contra Jazz“ are becoming a fine tradition. The programme will feature pieces from previous albums, as well as tracks that never made it onto an album at all. At the concert we'll hear the alternative jazz, rock and academic music fusion that „Contra Jazz“ is known for, though plenty of room will also be left for improvisation and unexpected musical decisions. According to the quartet's leader Arūnas Šlaustas, the aim is to „build a bridge between the present and the past, dissolving the boundaries between cultures, genres and temperaments”.
