• VERANDA – 20 years of great taste and jazz! • VERANDA - the bohemian embassy of Žvėrynas, where cuisine, wine, live jazz, and relaxation meet in one space. Where a glass of wine is not an accessory, but rather another part of the instrument. Food here brings people together – at the table, over a long-forgotten story. Naturalness, freshness, culinary improvisation – we serve all of this daily. For 20 years, in the green Žvėrynas, we have been welcoming everyone who misses jazz in their life or lives to the rhythm of jazz. JAZZ DUO Leonidas Mieldažis - piano Gintaras Remeikis - saxophone Leonidas Mieldažis graduated from the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre. He played in various music projects and groups: “Sufle”, “Goldien Melodies”, “Gėlių Vaikai”, “Monkes Blues”, “The Road Band”. He has participated in festivals of various styles and collaborated on recording several dozen albums. With A. Fedotov's instrumental ensembles, he participated in recording vinyl records by Vygandas Telksnys, Benjaminas Gorbulskis, and Algimantas Raudonikis. He began his solo career in piano bars in Italy. He performed in Poland, in Warsaw clubs. Currently, he works at Vilnius College and Vilnius Conservatory. Gintaras Remeikis – long-time concertmaster of the State Wind Instrument Orchestra "Trimitas", and a teacher at two art schools. He has toured almost the entire world performing with the orchestra! --- The Dainykla project is partially funded by Vilnius City Municipality.
