The performance „The Striptease Eagles“, which has already become a cult, tells the story of six men from a small Lithuanian town plagued by unemployment. Having grown weary of wearing out the benches day after day to no great avail, one of the friends has an idea of how to find something to do and earn some money: the friends decide to become striptease dancers… No wonder that the start of the „new career“ not only demands enormous efforts of will but also endangers a long-standing friendship.

This performance, staged after the play „Ladies Night“ by the playwrights Stephen Sinclair and Anthony McCarten, was first shown in 1987 in New Zealand – it became the most profitable performance of all time in the history of world theatre. The play was translated into twelve languages, and in 1990 and 1994 the performance became the most popular tourist production in England. The English film „The Full Monty“, based on it, also achieved enormous success in 1997 when it first began to be shown, and in 2006 it entered the list of the world's best-selling films.
