The protagonists of the romantic comedy "Dating Games", Richard and Julia, have recently officially divorced, but their divorce is merely a formality on paper. After many years of marriage, the couple remained close friends, genuinely wishing each other happiness in new relationships. However, it soon becomes clear that this is much more complicated than it might seem at first glance… Both begin to search for new partners, going on blind dates. Although dating is a great opportunity to find a soulmate, the situation becomes much trickier when you've spent several decades in marriage. Richard and Julia, the former spouses, are met with colorful, and sometimes even strange, dating partners. Each new encounter increasingly convinces them that the entire world of dating is one big misunderstanding. An increasingly bewildered Richard and a disappointed Julia would have long given up if not for their constant mutual support. Will their efforts to rediscover love end in complete fiasco? Or will they, after all, succeed, and new, beautiful relationships will emerge in their lives? "Dating Games" is a fun, fast-paced, and bitingly witty comedy about men and women trying to communicate, charm, and, if lucky, survive until a second date. There will be many mistakes, unexpected twists, triumphs, fiascos, and laughter, because love, like sports, requires endurance, courage, and a bit of luck. The play was created by British playwright Peter Quilter, whose works are staged in over 40 countries, including Broadway and London's West End. Peter Quilter is one of the most frequently performed contemporary authors worldwide, twice nominated for the prestigious Olivier Award (for Best New Play and Best New Comedy), and his Broadway debut earned him three Tony nominations.
