Exhibition | Baltupiai: From the Cedron to Concrete

Nearly fifty years ago, a new residential district – Baltupiai – rose on a grass-covered hill and its slopes. Down in the lowland, alongside what is now the widened Kalvarijų Street, only a small remnant of a demolished village remained. The new residents began to create their own layers of Baltupiai’s history, while the village that gave the district its name was pushed to the margins.
