Sánchez) FALLA Imaginado is a project by pianist and composer Moisés P. Sánchez, presenting a contemporary reinterpretation of Manuel de Falla's work and combining tradition with a free, modern vision. Through his arrangements and original suite, M. P. Sánchez explores M. de Falla's oeuvre, employing harmonic thinking and a structural approach, alongside influences from jazz, symphonic rock, classical music, and French Impressionism. To mark the 150th anniversary of M. de Falla's birth, the programme created for 2026 features the composer's most famous works – "La vida breve", "El amor brujo" – alongside lesser-known opuses such as "Nocturne", "Fantasía Bética", and "Mazurka". All of them are adapted for the trio format and presented in a modern, innovative musical language. Improvisation is a key element here, growing naturally out of the composition and blurring the line between written and spontaneous, here-and-now created music. Having invited internationally acclaimed musicians – violinist Ana María Valderrama and double bassist Pablo Martín Caminero – M. P. Sánchez has formed a trio where each performer reveals their unique creative vision. Together they offer the listener new perspectives on the multifaceted M.
