On October 14, at the live music club "Tamsta" - Farayi Malek! Farayi Malek, owner of a warm, rich, and soul-touching voice, comes to Lithuania with a special musical story. The Grammy-nominated vocalist, known as a member of Danilo Pérez's "Global Messengers", this time returns to her musical roots and presents work where different cultures, experiences, and musical traditions merge. Of mixed heritage, Farayi grew up in a small town in Southern Idaho, where she played the violin as a child and was surrounded by the cultures of different communities. Her musical world was shaped by American folklore and hymns, and later by blues and jazz. All this experience is reflected today in her songs, where her distinctive vocals sound free, sensitive, and highly impactful. Farayi is a laureate of the "Salt Lick Incubator" program and plans to release her debut full-length album in 2027. Beyond the stage and recording studio, she shares her extensive musical knowledge by teaching at prestigious institutions such as Berklee College of Music and New England Conservatory. But Farayi's music is more than just sound. Whether she is on stage or teaching others, her creative work is driven by the desire to make people feel seen, heard, and accepted for who they are.
