Forest Bathing

Sometimes a storm happens around us. And sometimes – inside us. Thoughts that don’t stop. Emotions that struggle to find a place. Tension. Uncertainty. Change. The urge to control something, solve it, or escape from it as quickly as possible. We invite you to a forest bathing / forest therapy session „My Storm“ – to explore not how to silence the storm, but how to be with whatever is happening within us right now. In the forest we will move slowly, stop, listen, and observe. Through nature, the body, and the senses, we will explore our inner “weather”: What in me is calm today, and what is restless? Where in my body do I feel my storm? What am I trying to control? What am I resisting, and what could I simply notice? What in me remains stable even when there is a lot of movement around me? We will also observe nature itself – its movement, sounds, wind, and the flexibility and support of the trees. We will not look for ready-made answers, but for our own observations. The session will include individual forest therapy invitations, slow walking, mindful presence, reflection, and group sharing. Forest bathing is an experiential wellness practice that offers space to slow down and notice your thoughts, emotions, bodily signals, and your relationship with what is currently happening in your life. The forest therapy session will be led by Daiva Kuizinaitė, a PASP-licensed forest therapist. Take care of yourself and come prepared with: a bottle of water, if you feel the need; comfortable clothing and footwear suited to the weather; a waterproof mat or a folding chair to sit on; a notebook and something to write with; tick or mosquito repellent, if needed; and openness to the experience.
