MARDEE LOU - FUGAZI: an audiovisual EP release experience. On the evening of 18 September, the courtyard of the Opium club "Briusly" will briefly become the world of "FUGAZI". On the same day Mardee Lou releases a new EP and invites you not only to hear it, but to experience it live. Returning to Lithuania for a short while after a creative period in Berlin, Mardee Lou creates somewhere between alternative hip-hop, electronic and club music. In his work, music merges with cinema, performance, fashion and a strong visual language. "FUGAZI" is a new stage of this world. The EP speaks about false identities, other people's expectations and the stories with which a person limits themselves. About the attempt to break free from them, to change and to reclaim the freedom to be oneself. This idea will carry over into the release evening itself: it will not be a traditional concert with a performer alone on stage. For one evening, a single audiovisual experience will be created in the "Briusly" courtyard. The space will feature art installations, performative characters and elements of the "FUGAZI" world. The audience will be greeted by DJ sets at the start of the evening, followed by Mardee Lou's main audiovisual performance, and the event will continue with an afterparty with DJ music until late. "FUGAZI" merchandise created specially for this project and other limited-edition items will also be available at the event. It is an EP release, a concert, an installation and a party in one: a chance to be among the first to step live into Mardee Lou's new creative stage. Date: 18 September 2026.
