Group ArbaČia - | St. Catherine's Church

On November 30, 2026, at 7 PM, the stage of St. Catherine's Church will host a meeting of two generations, two creative unions sharing one common surname – the Arbačiauskas family. Giedrius, Agnė, Jonas, Nojus, and Marius have joined their musical forces into a common family collective and promise to surprise the audience with their creativity. Actor Giedrius Arbačiauskas has been on stage for over 30 years. Sung poetry is an activity very dear to Giedrius's heart. He composes his own songs, inspired by the beloved poems of modern Lithuanian poets. Sometimes the poem itself sounds like a song, and sometimes he searches for a text for a melody. Since 2007, Giedrius and Agnė have formed a stage duo. The sounds of the cello enrich the guitar's timbre, fill the space, and create a beautiful ensemble with Giedrius's voice. Having created a musical-literary program, they perform in many Lithuanian cities and appear at various events and festivals. Their son Nojus follows in his parents' footsteps; music and original creation are part of his life. He plays the piano, sings, and graduated from the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre. Jonas and Nojus have created their own program featuring their original songs. In July 2026, they participated in the Young Bards' Camp, where they deepened their creative knowledge. Marius, having formed his own band, has been inseparable from his bass guitar since the age of 15, participating in various events and concerts. The creativity of the younger family members has greatly enriched Giedrius and Agnė's duo with new ideas, instrumental colors, and youthful energy. This family collective first appeared in 2024 at the Purpurinis vakaras festival. This year, they participated in the Akacijų Alėja bards' festival, receiving much public support and affection. During the darkest time of the year, good music experts „Bardai LT” invite you to a meeting with the group ArbaČia to draw light and fill your souls with the magic of sung poetry.
