About this eventAll praise for Vilnius' beauty usually goes to Vilnius city center, Old Town, Antakalnis, Žvėrynas. But is there really nothing charming in the blocky Soviet-era districts? I invite you to a hike through Šeškinė — I will try to awaken love for these seemingly gloomy districts too. During the hike:• We will look for real art in the district• We will learn how old and new Šeškinė differ• We will hear where the first store in Vilnius with shopping carts was located• We will notice many invisible details that create the district's characterThis will be an active, informative excursion-wellness hike. We will start at Rygos bus stop, and finish near Panorama.📅 August 22, 5:00 PM 📍 Rygos bus stop (Šeškinė side) 🚶‍♀️ ~10 km hike, duration 2.5–3 hours.
