I-95 Quartet

"I-95" is a jazz quartet led by Glib Svyrydov, formed in an unexpected environment – on a cruise ship, where the musicians first met and began their shared musical journey. Professional collaboration quickly blossomed into a creative collective characterized by a common artistic vision and an open form of creativity. The quartet consists of Glib Svyrydov (piano / synthesizers), Jana Kütt (vocals), Andres Alaru (double bass), and Pauls Pokratnieks (drums). "I-95" music combines contemporary jazz, European aesthetics, and emotional storytelling – from ironic swing to lyrical ballads. These are compositions born from shared experiences, travels, and continuous dialogue with the audience, especially during cruise concerts, where the music was constantly tested live. This is a sensitive, contemporary, and vibrant jazz project, reflecting the creative unity of four musicians and the fusion of diverse experiences.
