Interslavic Evening: Šárka + Speaking Club
Have you ever wondered what it would be like if we took the words and grammar that all Slavic languages share — and made a language out of them? Come and see. And try speaking it yourself. We are holding an informal gathering with Šárka from the Czech Republic. She is a student and has been involved in the Interslavic language project for 6 years (3 years with the foundation). She has conducted Interslavic courses, organized meetings, and generally keeps the community going. Besides the language, she is interested in European geopolitics, self-defense, and zoology. Plan: 15 minutes — Šárka's presentation on the Interslavic language and the work of the Interslavic Forum. 15 minutes — questions, in the language you are comfortable with. 30 minutes — open speaking practice: try Interslavic aloud, without prior knowledge. Afterwards — songs in Interslavic, for those who wish to stay and sing. For whom? For absolute beginners, for curious Slavs, and for those who already read Interslavic but have never spoken it. Non-Slavs are also welcome — you understand more than you think. Organizer: Interslavic Forum (interslavicforum.org)
Adresas: Zolak Micro Art Residence
