Lasers in Dental Practice
In modern dentistry, innovative technologies are increasingly being adopted to improve treatment efficiency, patient comfort, and clinical outcomes. One of the fastest-evolving fields is laser technology. Despite its growing popularity, knowledge and skills in laser application are still not integrated into traditional dental curricula, leading to a knowledge gap among practicing dentists. The seminar is designed for: General dental practitioners seeking to expand their range of treatment methods and apply modern technologies in daily practice; Dental specialists (e.g., periodontists, endodontists, oral surgeons) wishing to deepen their knowledge in specific areas of laser application; It may also be beneficial for researchers and educators integrating laser technologies into research or the educational process. The seminar lecturer is periodontist Dr. Inesa Stigienė. The professional development program is approved by the Ministry of Health (SAM). 8 academic hours of professional development are awarded.
