Let Paneriai Surprise You

I invite you to Paneriai! I know, at first glance, this district might not seem interesting or attractive. But how deceiving that is! 😮 Everyone who visits is surprised by the wealth of history, the emotional journey, and rejoices in discovering another piece of our country's historical puzzle. 🧩 If you're not afraid to walk about 11 km and dedicate a good 3-4 hours – join us! 🚶‍♀️🚶‍♂️ We meet at the green shield marking the old Vilnius-Kaunas road, at Titnago Street 6. The easiest way to get there is by public transport to the Jankiskiai stop, then walk back a little. This hike is NOT radial – you'll need to return to your car by public transport. But, of course, that's also an option. 🚌 Make sure you have comfortable footwear and clothing – there will be a couple of spots where they'll really come in handy: you'll have to climb a high hill 🏔️ and wade through dense grass 🌾. Bring water and maybe a snack or two. 🍎🥤 Most importantly – prepare for good company, a meaningful walk, and new discoveries. ✨ P.S. The hike will take place in any weather.
