Let Paneriai Surprise You

I invite you to Paneriai! I know, at first glance, this district doesn't seem interesting or attractive. But how deceiving that is! 😮 Everyone who visits here is surprised by the abundance of history, by the emotional journey, and is happy to have discovered another piece of our country's historical puzzle. 🧩 If you're not afraid to walk about 11 km and dedicate a good 3-4 hours on Saturday – join us! 🚶‍♀️🚶‍♂️ We meet by the green shield marking the old Vilnius–Kaunas road, at Titnago St. 6. The most convenient way to arrive is by public transport to Jankiškių stop and walk back a little. The hike is NOT a loop – you'll have to return to your car by public transport. But, of course, that's also possible. 🚌 Make sure you have comfortable footwear and clothing – there will be a couple of places where they'll really come in handy: you'll have to climb a high hill 🏔️ and wade through dense grass 🌾. Bring water and maybe something to snack on. 🍎🥤 Most importantly – prepare for good company, a meaningful walk, and new discoveries. ✨ P. S. The hike will take place in any weather.
