Linocut Workshop: A Peaceful and Creative Sunday Afternoon

This Sunday, I invite you to spend a peaceful, creative afternoon at a linocut workshop in a cozy studio in Vilnius. This workshop is dedicated to slow creation, focus, and enjoyable handcraft – a time to relax, try the linocut technique, and create your own unique print on paper. During the workshop, you will: -Learn the basics of linocut. -Create your own individual design – based on what resonates most with you. -Carve your own linocut block, which you can create at your own pace, individually. -Finally, print several of your works on paper using a graphic press, choosing colors and paper combinations according to your vision. Each participant will take home several prints – at least one on higher quality paper, which can be framed, given as a gift, or kept as a memento. The block size is A6, and we can also make prints on larger sheets to leave a nice border or space for matting. The workshop will take place on Sunday, May 24, at 1 PM, in a small and cozy group, ensuring everyone receives enough attention and help.
