LUZ DO SOL – BRAZILIAN SPIRIT JOURNEY

A journey of music and dance in the spirit of Brazil We invite you to a rich, multi-hour experiential journey to a place that inspires and transports you to a vibrant tropical world – “Gajos kupolas” in Trakai district: https://www.facebook.com/gajoskupolas Our guest from Brazil, musician and multi-instrumentalist Luz do Sol, will open a space for your inner journey, which will begin with an introspective, centering meditation and culminate in an ecstatic celebration. Luz do Sol will be joined by a group of professional Lithuanian musicians – Romanas Lykovas, Daumantas Lukošiūnas, Jonas "Iguana" – to perform his musical set. Grounding and opening movement workshops will be led by Indrė Šiliauskaitė – Indraya – a dance-movement therapist, music creator, ecstatic dance facilitator, and psycho-emotional health lecturer. The event will be held in Lithuanian and English. EVENT PROGRAM: 4:00 PM – 5:00 PM – Doors open, participant registration and settling in. 5:00 PM – Connection over a cup of herbal tea, meditation, experience of being "here and now." Grounding and opening movement workshops. Around 6:30 PM – 7:00 PM – Break to refresh. 7:00 PM – Heart-opening Amazonian forest and ceremonial songs. Afro-Brazilian dance celebration. 10:00 PM – Concert ends, reflection and conversations by the fire. The event will take place on the terrace of “Gajos kupolas”. In case of unsuitable weather conditions, it will move indoors to the dome.
