We invite you to celebrate the New Year with the Lithuanian State Symphony Orchestra, led by Artistic Director and Chief Conductor Gintaras Rinkevičius, and the new program "Diva in Rock"! Three charismatic vocal divas – Ieva Prudnikovaitė, Ona Kolobovaitė, and Evelina Sašenko – together with the orchestra, are preparing a special program for a special evening, featuring songs by legendary artists Tina Turner, Scorpions, Queen, Bon Jovi, Alice Cooper, Muse, and others. Ieva Prudnikovaitė – one of Lithuania's most renowned mezzo-sopranos, who has also conquered international opera stages. In 2008, the singer completed her master's studies at the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre and became a laureate of the International Singers' Competition in Cologne (Germany). From 2008 to 2014, I. Prudnikovaitė was a soloist at the Aalto Theatre in Essen (Germany). One of the singer's most prominent roles is Carmen in G. Bizet's opera "Carmen" at the Lithuanian National Opera and Ballet Theatre, for which in 2009 she was awarded the "Operos švyturiu" (Opera Lighthouse) as Opera Soloist of the Year. In 2022, the singer's star shone on the Swiss stage – at the St. Gallen Opera House, she created the main role in Ástor Piazzolla's tango opera "María de Buenos Aires." Her colleague on stage this evening is soprano Ona Kolobovaitė . In 2010, the soloist completed classical singing studies at the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre under Prof. Sigutė Stonytė. Already in 2009, O. Kolobovaitė became the winner of the "Triumfo arka" golden voice competition, and later created roles at the Lithuanian National Opera and Ballet Theatre, in Giedrius Kuprevičius' musical "Ugnies medžioklė su varovais" (Fire Hunt with Beaters), Laimis Vilkončius' rock opera "Eglė" (The Fir Tree), and elsewhere. One of Lithuania's most prominent vocalists, Evelina Sašenko , completed jazz vocal studies at the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre. The singer successfully participated in numerous competitions, festivals, and projects, including "Meilės istorijos pagal Edith Piaff" (Love Stories by Edith Piaff), "Chopin Jazz inn," and "All That Cabaret." Together with the Lithuanian State Symphony Orchestra and Maestro G. Rinkevičius, E. Sašenko prepared the program "Su meile Barbrai" (With Love to Barbra), in which she performed the most famous songs by the legendary singer and songwriter Barbra Streisand, as well as other programs featuring the most famous love songs, film scores, and pieces from foreign and Lithuanian musicals.
