CONCERT PROGRAM Songs by Tina Turner, Whitney Houston, Annie Lennox, ABBA, Beyoncé and other artists IEVA PRUDNIKOVAITĖ, ONA KOLOBOVAITĖ and EVELINA SAŠENKO LITHUANIAN STATE SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA Conductor GINTARAS RINKEVIČIUS During this festive week, the Lithuanian State Symphony Orchestra, led by maestro Gintaras Rinkevičius, invites you to listen to three radiant vocal divas: Ieva Prudnikovaitė, Ona Kolobovaitė, and Evelina Sašenko. These well-known and prominent Lithuanian singers, together with the orchestra, have prepared a special program for this evening, featuring songs by legendary stage divas Tina Turner, Whitney Houston, Annie Lennox, ABBA, Beyoncé, and others. Ieva Prudnikovaitė is one of Lithuania's most renowned mezzo-sopranos, who has also conquered stages of international opera houses. In 2008, the singer completed her master's studies at the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre and became a laureate of the International Singers' Competition in Cologne (Germany). From 2008 to 2014, I. Prudnikovaitė was a soloist at the Aalto Theatre in Essen (Germany). One of her most notable roles is Carmen in G. Bizet's opera "Carmen" at the Lithuanian National Opera and Ballet Theatre, for which she was awarded the "Opera Lighthouse" as Opera Soloist of the Year in 2009. In 2022, the singer's star shone on the Swiss stage – she created the main role in Ástor Piazzolla's tango opera "María de Buenos Aires" at the St. Gallen Opera House. Her colleague on stage this evening is soprano Ona Kolobovaitė . In 2010, the soloist completed her classical singing studies at the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre under Prof. Sigutė Stonytė. As early as 2009, O. Kolobovaitė became the winner of the "Triumfo arka" golden voice competition, and later created roles at the Lithuanian National Opera and Ballet Theatre, in Giedrius Kuprevičius' musical "Ugnies medžioklė su varovais", Laimis Vilkončius' rock opera "Eglė", and elsewhere. One of Lithuania's most prominent vocalists, Evelina Sašenko , completed her jazz vocal studies at the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre. The singer has successfully participated in numerous competitions, festivals, and projects, including "Love Stories by Edith Piaf", "Chopin Jazz Inn", and "All That Cabaret". Together with the Lithuanian State Symphony Orchestra and maestro G. Rinkevičius, E. Sašenko prepared the program "With Love to Barbra", in which she performed the most famous songs by the legendary singer and songwriter Barbra Streisand, as well as programs featuring other famous love songs, film scores, and works from foreign and Lithuanian musicals.
