Make Love Outside – Lukiškės Prison 2.0
The theatre troupe "Teatronas" returns to the grand stage of Lukiškės Prison with the musical performance "Make Love Outside". The performance is about sex, so what's there to be ashamed of? We invite you to a date under the open sky on July 28th. In fact, several showings of this performance have already sold out. Don't say we didn't warn you! The performance "Make Love" openly and directly talks about sex and explores the difficulties that arise in people's sexual lives. Drawing on fiction, journalism, and consultations with sexologist Laura Butvilaitė, "Teatronas" invites you to a lively, brave discussion about topics that too often remain unspoken. On stage, unspoken conversations, unexpressed desires, and consequences turn into loud, straightforward songs. "Our main goal is to want to hum about what's embarrassing to talk about. But I've seen so many audience members with my own eyes that I can guarantee this performance achieves goals I hadn't even thought of. And what's more, I have a very strong suspicion that this performance has contributed to Lithuania's demographic growth. Possibly," says the performance's director Gildas Aleksa, inviting everyone to hum along to the (un)comfortable songs loudly. The director reveals that it's worth attending even for those who have already seen the performance. Each showing is unique, so even past attendees will hear entirely new works from the troupe. About sex, of course. Jokūbas Tulaba's music, Kristina Marija Kulinič's dramaturgical style, Agnietė Lisičkinaitė's approach to bodies moving on stage, and Gildas Aleksa's direction combine with actors Milda Naudžiūnaitė, Karolis Kasperavičius, Kasparas Varanavičius, and Kamilė Petruškevičiūtė. On stage, songs co-written by ALL these creators will be performed. About sex. Everything that sometimes feels awkward to talk about will now become a pleasure to hum. Tickets here!
