Mano Juodoji Sesuo + Pulsas | Vilnius On Wednesday, November 11, at 7:30 PM, at the Kirtimai Culture Centre - the rarely-performing Lithuanian darkwave music pioneers "Mano Juodoji Sesuo" return to Vilnius for what is likely their only concert this year. The concert will feature not only fan-favourite songs that have become the band's classics, but also pieces from the 30th-anniversary album "Belamy". The evening's guests - the band "Pulsas". __________________________ Having tried out various stylistic shades for more than three decades, "Mano Juodoji Sesuo" has been creating a distinctive darkwave sound on the Lithuanian alternative music scene - dark, romantic and melancholic, combining guitar music, electronics and cold danceable rhythms throughout the band's history. The band's story began in 1991, when Barbora and Mindaugas, who had split off from "Post Meridian", began playing on their own. In 1992 the debut album "Byra byra karoliukai" was released, and songs such as "Tiesi rankas į dangų" and "Byra byra karoliukai" reached the top spots on Lithuanian radio charts. Later came "Reinkarnacija", "Sesuo", "Belamy", "Synthetique" and other albums, concerts in Lithuania and abroad, and performances at major dark alternative festivals. This time, on the stage of the Kirtimai Culture Centre, there will be not only fan-favourite songs that have become the band's classics, but also pieces from the 30th-anniversary album "Belamy". Released in 1996, the album is one of the important milestones in the band's creative path, featuring songs such as "Šaltą rytą" and "Belamy". The concert will be recorded for posterity. According to the band's founder and the only member of the original line-up, Mindaugas Budnikas, live concert recordings preserve not only the musicians' emotions but also those of the audience - so the gathered listeners will also become part of this evening.
