MARMIAI – Musical Play for Children "Olis and the Paint Bucket" dir. G. Zapalskis

Dreams Production invites you to get to know Olis, a character from the book by Indrė Pavilonytė and Martynas Pavilonis. "Marmiai: Olis and the Paint Bucket" is a unique children's book about feelings, discoveries, and mystical night creatures. The entire "Marmiai" book series has become unequivocally distinctive in the realm of children's literature, capturing the hearts of many young readers. When not only little children but also mothers and fathers go to bed, the town of Marmius comes alive in the distant and mysterious Martvudas Forest. Its inhabitants are round, BLACK creatures, one of whom is Olis, and he is not like everyone else. He is YELLOW! The play explores the phenomenon of a unique, authentic individual. Through songs, movement, and exceptionally beautiful illustrations, the creators discuss individuality, distinctiveness, and various emotions with children. The performance aims to foster children's empathy and their ability to accept their own and others' differences. Recommended for children aged 3 and up. Duration: 45 minutes. IMPORTANT! A ticket is required for both children and adults. After the performance, books about Marmius will be available for purchase.
