The work analyzes how attitudes towards work, time, money, and emotions change with technological advancement, and how this affects perceptions of older people – they are often considered economically unproductive, thus remaining on the margins of society, rarely seen in public life or visual culture. This playfully humorous and experimental work invites us to change our perspective on older people and rethink our relationship with rapid technological progress and informational anxiety, evaluating their impact on contemporary individuals. melanie bonajo* is an artist, filmmaker, and activist whose works explore the contemporary human condition, vanishing intimacy, and isolation in a technologically advanced world. They propose alternative, non-consumerist ways of exploring connection, intimacy, and emotions.
