Midsummer Night Tour "Vilnius Rituals: Bare Hills, Iron Armor"

The free tour will start immediately after the event VASARVIDŽIO MOTERŲ SUTARTINĖS, more about this event here. We meet at 10:15 PM at the Three Crosses Monument. Registration here. Come to a night tour of the ritual hills of Vilnius Castles – we will find out where the Iron Wolf actually howled, why Gediminas chose Šventaragis Valley for his overnight stay instead of just any meadow, and who is more deserving of the title of founder of Vilnius: Gediminas or Lizdeika, who interpreted his dream. After all, legends sometimes tell us more than we expect, especially when we listen to them not only with our ears, but also with our hearts and imagination. The tour is led by Miglė Mikulėnaitė, a guide of the Vilnius Castles State Cultural Reserve.
