Morning SUP Coffee Tour 11 August | goSUP Vilnius

There is nothing better than starting the day with a SUP tour and a cup of coffee! On your way to work, a meeting, or breakfast – paddle along the Neris River, admiring the city views and enjoying the most delicious coffee in town! The tour starts at Žirmūnai Beach. Later, the natural surroundings and birdsong give way to cityscapes and architectural masterpieces from various eras: St. Peter and Paul's Church, Gediminas' Castle Tower, Raduškevičius Palace, the National Opera and Ballet Theatre, the Church of the Apostles St. Philip and St. James, modern skyscrapers, and other city landmarks. You will finish the tour at the White Bridge, where we will welcome you with steaming, delicious coffee prepared by the coffee masters at Taste Map. "Taste Map" will brew coffee from Brazilian beans specially selected for the tour participants. They are intense, rich, and chocolatey – perfect for recovering after physical activity and getting ready for the day's work. This is a great opportunity for both locals and visitors to admire Vilnius as it wakes up, or for coffee lovers to try stand-up paddleboarding. TIME. We start at 6:30 AM with a briefing where you will hear all the necessary information: how to get on the board correctly, how to paddle, what to do if you fall, the route, and other important safety rules on the water. The briefing takes about 15 minutes, and then you will paddle. Total tour duration: 1 to 1.5 hours. ROUTE. We meet at Žirmūnai Beach (Coordinates 54.723521, 25.310847, map link https://goo.gl/maps/5pz4kakwZaR2) and paddle to the White Bridge. We recommend leaving your car near the White Bridge and taking a taxi or public transport to Žirmūnai Beach. CLOTHING. Wear loose, sporty clothing that won't get in the way of wading into the water (you can roll up your trousers :). Choose your outfit according to the weather: if the forecast promises a cooler morning, dress warmer.
