Morning SUP & Coffee Tour 18/08 | goSUP Vilnius

There is nothing better than starting the day with a SUP tour and a cup of coffee! Head to work, a meeting, or breakfast – paddle down the Neris River, taking in the city views, and enjoy the most delicious coffee in town! The tour starts at Žirmūnai Beach. Later, the natural surroundings and birdsong give way to cityscapes and architectural masterpieces from various eras: the Church of St. Peter and St. Paul, the Gediminas Castle Tower, the Raduškevičius Palace, the National Opera and Ballet Theatre, the Church of St. Philip and St. James, modern skyscrapers, and other city landmarks. You will finish the tour at the White Bridge (Baltasis tiltas), where we will welcome you with steaming, delicious coffee prepared by the coffee masters at Taste Map. "Taste Map" will brew coffee from Brazilian beans specially selected for the tour participants. They are intense, full-bodied, and chocolatey – perfect for recovering after physical activity and getting ready for the day's work. This is a great opportunity for both locals and visitors to admire Vilnius waking up, or for coffee gourmets to try out paddleboarding. TIME. We start at 6:30 AM with a briefing where you will get all the necessary information: how to get on the paddleboard correctly, how to paddle properly, what to do if you fall, which route to take, and other important water safety rules. The briefing takes about 15 minutes, and then you will set off. Total tour duration: 1 to 1.5 hours. ROUTE. We meet at Žirmūnai Beach (Coordinates 54.723521, 25.310847, map link https://goo.gl/maps/5pz4kakwZaR2) and paddle to the White Bridge (Baltasis tiltas). We recommend leaving your car near the White Bridge and taking a taxi or public transport to Žirmūnai Beach. CLOTHING. Wear loose, sporty clothing that won't hinder you when stepping into the water (you can roll up your trousers :). Choose your clothing according to the weather: if the forecast predicts a cooler morning, dress warmer.
