We invite you to a full-day educational motorcycle tour "The Border in the Middle of Lithuania: Tracing the Demarcation Line". For almost twenty years, a border ran through the middle of Lithuania, separating Lithuania from the Vilnius region occupied by Poland. During this trip, we will ride through the areas of the former border and get acquainted with one of the most interesting and least known periods of Lithuanian history. You will learn how the demarcation line came into being, how it changed the lives of the surrounding towns, why the center of Trakai district was moved to Kaišiadorys, and under what circumstances the Kaišiadorys Diocese was established. Key Information Date: August 2 Meeting time: 8:45 AM Departure: 9:00 AM Meeting point: EMSI gas station, Savanorių Ave. 225, Vilnius. Duration: approx. 7–8 hours The majority of the route will be on paved roads. During the motorcycle tour, stops will be scheduled for historical narratives, short breaks, and photography. Ticket Price €18 The ticket price includes: professional guide services throughout the trip; a carefully prepared tour program. Fuel, meals, and other personal expenses are not included in the ticket price. The tour is intended for motorcyclists traveling on their own motorcycles. We will ride at a relaxed pace, adhering to traffic regulations.
