Lukiškės Prison buildings The current Lukiškės Prison complex, which was, incidentally, a very modern and expensive facility for its time as a place of incarceration, was designed by architect G. Trambickis and his team. Construction of the prison was completed in 1904. The Lukiškės Prison complex consists of an administrative building, the Church of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker, a dormitory building, the prison building, a prison-hospital building, a wall, and a control checkpoint. The complex is listed in the Register of Cultural Property and holds the status of a national cultural heritage site. Lukiškės Prison 2.0 Lukiškės Prison has captured the attention of city residents and artists alike. The new version of Lukiškės Prison is building a different image, emotion and story.
