Buildings of Lukiškės Prison The current Lukiškės Prison complex, incidentally a very modern and expensive facility for its time, was designed by architect G. Trambickis and his team. Construction of the prison was completed in 1904. The Lukiškės Prison complex consists of an administrative building, the Church of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker, a dormitory building, a prison building, a prison-hospital building, a wall, and a control checkpoint. The complex is listed in the Register of Cultural Property and holds the status of a national cultural heritage site.
