The Festive Gala Concerts of opera star NOMEDA KAZLAUS and her partners have been held at the Lithuanian National Philharmonic since 2012 and are now a beloved tradition – among the most anticipated events of the year. Unique International Project in Honour of Opera Legend LUCIANO PAVAROTTI For the first time in Lithuania: the unique symphonic organ WERTI – which sounds like a full orchestra! The programme features an exclusively entertainment-oriented repertoire: the most popular works associated worldwide with Luciano Pavarotti – Nessun dorma, La donna è mobile, Caruso, O sole mio, Luciano, Torna a Surriento, Ave Maria and more. INTERNATIONAL GUESTS – three celebrated tenors: M. Caballé favourite OSCAR MARIN (Spain); German TV star JOHANNES GROSS (Germany); SEBASTIANO LO MEDICO (Italy); and pianist CLAUDIA HIRSCHFELD (Germany), who will reveal the magic of the WERTI instrument – its extraordinary orchestral sound. NOMEDA KAZLAUS – internationally acclaimed opera prima donna, the only Lithuanian soloist to have sung leading roles at the world's greatest stages alongside opera legend Montserrat Caballé. Her repertoire spans from Wagner's Isolde and Brünnhilde to Verdi's Elizabeth and Beethoven's Leonora. She is also a television host, producer, vocal professor, mentor, and chair and member of the juries of international singing competitions and television projects, including Lithuania's national Eurovision selection. Nomeda Kazlaus is the official representative of the Montserrat Caballé family in Lithuania and the founder and artistic director of the annual Nomeda Kazlaus International Vocal Masterclass Summer Academy in Palanga. International music critics – including Opera News and Opera Now – highlight her impressive and powerful voice, distinctive timbre, wide range, musicality, pinpoint intonation and emotionally compelling stage presence.
