The cozy Vilnius Old Town, although well-known to many, always has something new to reveal – it holds countless unnoticed traces of history, architecture, and art. I invite you to join me on a walk during which we will travel through different eras of Vilnius, explore historical details, and look for interesting facts: ☑ Signs of the past embedded in the pavement of Cathedral Square;☑ The history of Vilnius University and its courtyards;☑ The secrets of Petras Repšys' impressive fresco „The Seasons“;☑ The past history of the Alumnate – the first seminary for priests;☑ Details of the establishment of the first botanical garden in Lithuania; ☑ Myths surrounding St. Anne's and Bernardine Churches and the signs of reality that debunk them; ☑ Literatų Street – a true open-air art gallery. When? July 11, 11 AM. Where do we meet? At Vilnius Cathedral. Duration: 2 - 2.5 hours. The tour is free for children up to and including 10 years old. The tour must be reserved with an advance payment. If payment is made and you do not attend the tour, the money will not be refunded.
