• VERANDA – 20 years of good taste and jazz! • VERANDA – the ambassador of bohemian Žvėrynas, where cuisine, wine, live jazz, and relaxation meet in one space. Where a glass of wine is not an accessory, but rather another part of the instrument. Food here brings people together – around the table, around a long-forgotten story. Naturalness, freshness, culinary improvisation – we serve all of this daily. For 20 years, in the green Žvėrynas, we have been welcoming everyone who longs for jazz in their life or lives to the rhythm of jazz. RAKIJA KLEZMER BAND Haroldas Parulis – clarinet Darius Bagdonavičius – accordion, vocals Mikas Murtinaitis – drums, percussion Simonas Kaupinis – tuba “Rakija Klezmer Band” charmingly and charismatically, adding new flavors, continues the tradition of Klezmer music in Lithuania. The band's performances are also inspired by the music of Balkan, Romani, and other Eastern European communities. The performers convey authentic sounds through their instruments with an extremely positive prism, from which even the most static listeners begin to clap or tap their feet. Energetic performances animate the audience and make them sing along, immerse themselves in the playful atmosphere, and feel the centuries-old music. In 11 years of existence, the band has managed to play numerous concerts in Lithuania and abroad, which have remained in the memory of many. --- The Dainyklos project is partially funded by Vilnius City Municipality.
