Open To The World 26: Christopher Tin, LVSO, ISM Choras Bel Canto & Friends
From Renaissance visions to the Cold War space race, OTTW’26 presents epic music about courage, progress, and humanity's quest to conquer the heavens. In a unique cinematic concert, multi-million-selling video game hits, Leonardo da Vinci's writings, and JFK's legendary Moon speech will merge with the historic "Turandot" finale. Having conquered the Washington stage and Olympic ice, it will be reborn in its most anticipated European premiere! Continuing the unique "Open To The World" festival, the ISM choir "Bel Canto" offers an exceptional concert experience. On December 4-5, 2026, the festival presents Christopher Tin (USA), one of the most renowned contemporary composers of concert, opera, and video game music, a conductor, and a two-time Grammy winner. After two sold-out performances in 2024, he returns to Vilnius with an even more ambitious program. The largest OTTW’26 concert will bring together 230 performers from Lithuania, the USA, Sweden, France, and Ukraine: the Lithuanian State Symphony Orchestra, three choirs – ISM choir "Bel Canto", the Swedish "A Scalpella", and the girls' choir "Liepaitės" – the vocal ensemble "Les Itinérantes", vocalist Jamal Moore, and soloists Kseniya Bakhritdinova (soprano) and Peter Drackley (tenor).
