Pianist Kasparas Uinskas, solo recital
On 10 November at the Kaunas Philharmonic, a solo recital by pianist Kasparas Uinskas with a new programme featuring two geniuses of the Romantic era – Fryderyk Chopin and Johannes Brahms. Music untouched by time in K. Uinskas's interpretation. On 12 November, audiences of the Lithuanian National Philharmonic will also have the chance to hear this programme. Uinskas's mastery. The internationally acclaimed pianist K. Uinskas performs in the world's major halls, such as New York's Carnegie Hall, Washington's J.F. Kennedy Center, London's Wigmore Hall, the Berlin Philharmonic, the Madrid Philharmonic, Brussels's BoZar and a host of other halls. These international appearances instantly earned the highest critical acclaim and audience recognition. K. Uinskas was invited for the second time to take part in the festival of the legendary pianist Martha Argerich in Hamburg, where, together with cellist Alexander Kniazev, he performed at the Hamburg Laeiszhalle. At his first appearance at this festival, pianist K. Uinskas performed in a duo with pianist Evgeni Bozhanov. In 2024, one of Germany's largest recording companies, Hänssler Classic, released pianist Kasparas Uinskas's CD of works by Liszt.
