PINK BREAK – a cold beet soup lunch break

Can an entire city be invited to lunch at the same time? Vilnius says – yes. On 29 May, at exactly 12:00, we invite you to the "Pink Break" – a cold beet soup lunch break that will symbolically mark the start of the Vilnius Pink Soup Fest. On that day, companies, organisations and communities are invited to create their own "Pink Break" – in the office, in a courtyard, on a rooftop or in any favourite space – and gather colleagues, a team or friends for a shared lunch. If you are planning an open cold beet soup break that others can join, let us know – it will appear on the official festival map. All Vilnius residents and visitors to the city are also invited to join the shared pink lunch break – in different parts of the city, special offers and cold beet soup-inspired experiences will be waiting for them. Don't forget to share your "Pink Break" moments on social media and tag @govilnius – let Vilnius turn pink! Specially prepared venues and offers for this occasion: Vilnius Railway Station. Vilnius Railway Station will become one of the "Pink Break" stops. A table decorated with a cold beet soup theme will be set up on the platform, and pink "footprints" – a trail of stickers leading from the station entrance – will guide you in the direction of lunch. The entire LTG community, nearby businesses, station guests and neighbours are invited to join the shared table – everyone enticed by a short but delicious pink break. During lunch, the festival's main partner IKI promises to treat guests to free cold beet soup. Halės Market At Halės Market, which will become the "Cold Beet Soup Market", pink accents and decorations await, and its food stalls will invite you to buy all kinds of cold beet soup. Lukiškės Prison At Lukiškės Prison, pink accents and music will set the mood, and the café there will invite you to taste cold beet soup.
