Therefore, Jack and Susie's spirits wander between this world and the afterlife, growing quite bored: their only entertainment is to haunt and scare those who dare to live in their former summer house. A young, newlywed couple – Simon and Mary – moves into the house. As they search for family harmony, mutual understanding, and love, they experience a series of comical, as well as painful, moments. Will the young family withstand the trial sent their way? How will Jack and Susie "contribute" to the couple's strength and relationship? Why does a guardian angel appear in their home? The play by British author Pam Valentine, first performed in Canada in 2010, is praised for its sharp humor, ironic and ambiguous situations, and its moral: love never dies and never ends.
