POOL FOR EVERYONE – MOVE, CONNECT, GROW!

An exceptional social sports project is launching in Vilnius, designed for children, youth, families, seniors, people with disabilities and all city residents who want to discover one of the most intellectual and elegant sports – pool. For the first time in the history of pool in Lithuania, an initiative of this scale is patronised and funded by Vilnius City Municipality. This is an important step for both the city's sports community and the future of pool in Lithuania. This is more than leisure. This is a sport that develops concentration, strategic thinking, discipline, respect and the ability to make decisions at the most crucial moments. What does the project offer? the first 1.5-hour session – free of charge; for people with disabilities – free of charge under the project terms; further sessions – no more than €10 per 1.5 hours; social memberships on accessible terms; a 5-day summer camp for children and youth; family training sessions together; the opportunity to grow in a modern sports environment. When will it take place? Every week – on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, from 1 May to 30 December. Participation is by prior registration only, to ensure a place in the group and quality session organisation for every participant. All precise information about times and groups will be provided after registration. Where will it take place? At the Cyber Pool club in Vilnius – a modern venue suited to both beginners and those looking to develop their sporting skills. Why is it worth coming? Lithuania already has talented players whose achievements show that this sport has great potential. The most important thing today is to give new people the chance to start. Sometimes one first visit becomes the beginning of a new path. Today you come to try. Tomorrow you discover the talent within you. The day after, you set your goals higher.
