Premiere! BAUBAS || Puppet and Object Show for Children

Do you remember the animated film "Baubas" by film director Ilja Bereznickas? More than one generation grew up watching this cartoon and dreaming of how wonderful it would be to befriend Baubas himself – a charming, cheerful, inventive, and slightly mischievous character. Now Baubas moves from the screens to the theater stage. In director Milda Mičiulytė's play, he invites young viewers to a live encounter with imagination, where even the strangest characters become close. And for their parents – it's an opportunity to recall a world full of fantasy and the feeling of childhood, when everything seemed possible. When a storm disrupts sleep, the only way to fall asleep again is a fairy tale told by parents. But what if parents don't have time? Then you turn to your grandfather. The play tells the story of a girl who, with the help of creativity and her grandfather's wisdom, turns her fear into a friend. It's a story about loneliness that imagination can dispel, and about a friendship that – like dust – you can't vacuum away. The story invites children and their parents to befriend their fears and reminds them that creativity can be what brings us closer.
