„Radvila Darius, Vytauto“ is a live dialogue between music performed live by four instrumentalists and video excerpts from the LRT archives.

In the final years of the 1980s, the period of censorship ended at Lithuanian Television. The airwaves were flooded with problems, suggestions, and comments accumulated over many years – everyone wanted to speak out. Still lacking formal freedom, viewers quickly engaged in the search for a new identity, heroes, and a vision of a better future.

The music, commenting on the images of that time, draws viewers into a tragicomic narrative of problems that began thirty years ago and continue to this day.

In the work, nostalgia for the past is replaced by ironic sound interpretations of the 1980s and 1990s, and in the collage-like atmosphere, questions constantly arise, formed by absurd repetitions and sentimental insertions: is all this a search for a 'Lithuanian' character or the everyday reality of human existence and domestic life?

The work uses video material from the LRT archive: fragments from the 1989–1991 broadcasts of „Veidrodis“, „Akistata“, „Vilnius ir vilniečiai“, „Sekmadienio rytą“.
