REFLECT ON YOUR CALLING - SAY "YES" OR RUN AWAY?

RETREAT WEEKEND, February 12-14, 2027, at the Pavilnys Retreat House. What happens when God calls you to a place you would really rather not go? God's call is not always comfortable or easy to understand. Sometimes it inspires, sometimes it brings fear, resistance, or the urge to simply run away. But is it really possible to escape what you are being called to? In this bibliodrama retreat we will enter the story of the prophet Jonah - a man who heard God's call and chose to flee in the opposite direction. His journey will also invite us to look at our own lives: at what we avoid, what we resist, and where we may still be waiting to find the courage to say "yes". This will not be simply an analysis of the Scripture text. Bibliodrama invites you to step into the story yourself - through movement, imagination, role play, bodily experience, silence and encounters with others. We will explore: - how I recognise God's call in my life; - what I do when that call conflicts with my plans; - where fear, anger, resistance or the urge to run come from; - what happens when life "stops" us and no longer lets us run; - how my relationship with God changes when I let Him lead me; - what saying my own "yes" means to me today. These days are meant not to give us quick answers, but to help us better hear ourselves, the text of Scripture, and God at work in the story of our lives. Will your answer to the call be "yes"? Or will you first want to run? Step into Jonah's story and discover what it can reveal about your own path. VENUE: Pavilnys Retreat House, Švarioji g. 3b. Accommodation in single rooms. Participant's contribution: if the EUR 70 registration fee is paid by December 20, 2026, the total is EUR 160; paid later, EUR 190 (accommodation and meals included).
